The Indepth Scuba PADI Open Water dive certification courses are designed to maximise your scuba diving fun, comfort and safety.
The dive course you are about to undertake comprises of online theory lessons, pool training and ocean excursions.
Fully qualified PADI instructors conduct all aspects of the course and Indepth Scuba offers the most modern training systems so that you can be assured of the very closest attention to your safety and well-being.
Course Schedule:
Weekend 1 @ Indepth Scuba Canberra Dive Centre in Belconnen
- Sunday 10th July - Pool training – 830am to 330pm
- Saturday 16th July – Open water training dives 1 & 2
- Sunday 17th July – Open water training dives 3 & 4

Inclusions:

- Use of a complete scuba kit, not including mask, snorkel & fins

What you need to provide:
- A Dive medical – only if required
- Mask, snorkel & boots. You will receive a great discount from us if purchased whilst you are on course. You can hire for $80. Just add at time of booking.
- Bed linen – sleeping bag and pillow for the coast weekend.
- Transport.
- Food & drink

Referral course:
- Complete the online theory & pool session with us, and the ocean training dives elsewhere.
- This is a popular option if you are heading on holidays and don't want to waste precious vacation time doing theory and pool training.

1 on 1 Instruction:
- Upgrade to 1 on 1 instruction, just you and an instructor. Same timings, same course, just for you!
Prerequisites:
Indepth Scuba, PADI and Australian Standard's Association require that before you start your scuba diving course you must fulfill certain prerequisites.
These include:
- A Dive Medical examination if required.
- Minimum age is 12 years, no maximum age. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or adult over the age of 18.
- You must be able to complete a 200 metre swim and be able to tread water or float for 10mins.
These prerequisites are designed to ensure that you are able to complete the course safely and confidently. Our instructors are only too happy to help you complete any details to ensure your smooth progression through the above prerequisites.
Some medical conditions may prevent you from diving.
For example: heart disease, asthma, epilepsy or diabetes.
If you are unsure of a particular medical condition, please check with us prior to reservation. Australian medical standards are different to those overseas. A medical obtained in another country will most likely NOT be valid in Australia.
Please Note: In the interests of safety we recommend that you should not fly within 24 hours after your last dive.
